Jewish students travel in the Winter and Summer to Israel on a Free campus trip with Birthright Israel. RIT students travel with other local colleges including University of Rochester and SUNY Genseo.
“Taglit” means “discovery” in Hebrew. And that, in a word, is the goal of the trip – a discovery of Israel and its people, discovery of one’s own personal connection to Jewish values and tradition, and discovery of the ways in which one can be a part of the larger Jewish community. Jewish students from Geneseo join students from Rochester and students from across the country for a life changing journey. Registration for Winter trips will begin in the fall. |
